Job Description

We are currently seeking a Cabinet Service Technician that is self-motivated, creative, talented and has great customer service and craftsmanship skills to join our family. The main responsibility of this position is to service custom cabinets in a safe, high quality, productive and profitable manner. The ideal candidate needs to demonstrate a commitment to client satisfaction and be able to communicate what is necessary in a genuinely friendly and professional fashion.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Service already constructed custom cabinets to include door adjustments and touch-ups on factory finish
  • Install kitchen and bath cabinetry crown molding, shoe mold, trim and other misc. moldings, ensuring all cabinets are level and installed securely
  • Retro-construct cabinets based upon client's needs; for example, but not limited to:

- False-front to drawer and vice-versa

- Kitchen sink to Farm sink

- Re-skin inside of cabinets

- Remove/install rails, stiles, mullions, toe kick/sweep,

Skills

-Good manual dexterity

-Good physical strength; ability to lift and hold 50 lbs.

-Great attention to detail; Visualizes concepts effectively; Well organized

- Reads blueprints, diagrams and floor plans properly

- Experience with hand/power tools related to cabinet construction

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

Key Qualifications

Qualifications

- Previous cabinet service/installation experience required; construction experience an asset

- Valid driver license and acceptable MVR record a must.

- Available full time Monday-Friday, plus some weekends and required overtime.

Experience:

  • Cabinet Touch Up: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Preferred)
